Eddie Jacobson showing hats inside his store
Eddie Jacobson was both the financial partner & operating partner with Harry S. Truman & their haberdashery going back to ~1911, long before Truman was hand picked to enter local politics by Tom Pendergast. Both Jacobson & Pendergast were bigtime political bosses, but Jacobson being older & basically the generation before, never rose to the power level of Pendergast.
