These are the Irwin family girls. That is Edith, Floyd's wife on the left, Joe. Joella, cousin Gladys and Pauline. C B Irwin sold horses to the cavalry during WWI thanks to his contact, Cap Waldron, Joella's husband. C B always made sure the family had the best horses and equipment. How do you like those bayonets on the end of the rifles?

RBH Seeing those photos of your grandfather and great uncle reminded me of this one. It's of my grandparents, me and my younger brother about 60 years ago, taken near Corsicana, Texas. My grandfather Dave Welch is wearing a real working hat by the looks of it.
