Given that Grady County is right next door to the west on the border with Spanish Florida I can tell you that Mr. Farmer would have likely roasted in his fedora in August. However, it appears that he has a Depp Vent in the top for cooling, making him a style icon decades before the term was invented and misused.
Take note of the obligatory snake proof boots, essential for the "harrowing" experience.
