this sensational circa 1913 photo of the first truck purchased by the Matador Ranch. This photo was taken at the depot in Roaring Springs, Texas. These men are sitting on sacks of feed. The truck is a chain drive 1912 Kissell.

The Matador Ranch truck brought back memories. I was in college in Boston in the mid to late 70s. During the winters there was a 10-wheel CHAIN DRIVE Reo used for snow plowing the streets of our neighborhood. I even remember it during the historic "Big one" of 1978. If memory serves, it was made in the late 1940s. Do they make 'em like that today?!
