C'mon, this is all so silly. This is actually an interesting thread when it's not all centered on PB's posting of Einstein's picture which I thought was a good post. Making disparaging remarks about your interpretation of his value as a person is out of line, I think. Why not take it out back to PMs if people have issues with one another or better yet, ignore them? I don't mean you shouldn't respond to disagreeable remarks, but it's getting quite personal and petty.

I don't think anyone should be bullied into leaving the FL. I think the bartenders do a great job of keeping the place in order and I trust that if there is a problem they will deal with it.

I was asked how old I was earlier, and by most of the comments today I received to a heartfelt response, I see most of you are still in grammar school.

Speaking of a decline in standards at department stores, I was at Macy's today and the fitting rooms were dirty! I of course complained to the management, but it shouldn't be that way.

I was in Macy's (Pasadena) last night, and I was amazed how nice they keep that place. It truly is a throwback store. I love shopping there. I just fear the cost of keeping such a business running these days may take them down. I hope not - it's classy and so fun to go there...

I am not "hell bent" on anything, nor am I interested in defending PB personally, nor am I afraid to speak my mind. I am, however, defending people's right to state disagreeable opinions agreeably. I don't agree with the nature of his later remarks, but turning the thread into a counseling session about how he should improve doesn't contribute to the the discussion of the decline in standards today. Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.......

The people working at my Macy's are very nice and professional. Just the fitting rooms, yuck. Hopefully my complaint will help, in fact while I was complaining another woman in the room came out to chime in, too.

I have never used a fitting room anywhere. For some reason you gal's do not mind using them, but for the life of me, I just cannot find it in me to use a fitting room. I will buy something, go home, try it on and if it does not fit, then I go all the way back to exchange or get a refund.

I almost think the fitting room is some sort of chamber that can allow just anyone to see you in a state you don't want to be seen in! lol! (Not that anyone is going to, but that is the feeling I get about them).

Most places do not allow things to be unclean. The worst places however for keeping clean are gas station restrooms. They top the list of nasty, in my book!

I try things on in the fitting room, go home, try it on again, then return about 1/3 of what I buy because I don't like the way I look in it in a different light. But I like your way of doing it!

I just have never felt comfortable in a bare room (sometimes a hook on the back of the wall) when I look in one of those rooms, I just can't help from thinking "Norman Bates".....lol! Now my Wife thinks it is best to try things on, and when she does it is lightning fast. That is another thing about you gals I don't understand...I am still putting on a pair of shoes and you gals are changed five times!

I am normally that way too. But - I lost 34 pounds and I'm seeking new things with new size tags. Once I have it down again, I'll be back to the same. But this Macy's is really nice, so I don't mind.

When I started the job it was made very clear to me that in twenty-five years of doing business we'd never flunked an inspection. And that record wasn't about to be broken.

Most oil companies operated similar inspection programs, but by the end of the seventies they were gone. Guess with times being as tight as they were then, and oil companies making so little money, they had to do away with such frivolous frills as ensuring decent facilities for their customers.
