I don't know who ended up with them and there wasn't an auction as far as I know. They kept it very quiet because there was a back-lash when the news went public a year ago. So when it was time, they simply closed it and gutted it.Who ended up with them? Was there an auction?
There are still bits of the mahogany appointments from Luchow's in NYC floating around; it closed in the early 80's, after a hundred year run.
I am certain that all of that carved oak and marble is somewhere. No one would just throw it away.
