The demise of the loose fit

Baggy here for skateboarding when I was younger! Still love the looks!
Now I think I've found a good balance between comfort and looks for my own body.
I love the vintage look on other people so much! But those really loose pants don't work for me. You just can't have everything, can you?
I'd say find something that fits your body type and you feel comfy in. Wear it good and wear it hard, it'll look so great on you! I love it, when clothes look alive and all that wabisabi shit.

My biker leather, seems a tad smaller on me these days. Who would have thought that such a good quality leather could shrink?

Ha, ha... classic. Should I que up some Jane's Addiction "Been Caught Stealin".

Lol! I didn't know this alternative band so I had to look it up:

I'm really not sure about those patent plastic black pants and high heels. They seem to make it harder to shoplift and run from the cops :)

Didn't I read somewhere he got it for free as celebrities often do?

If I were Mr Ford, I'd probably wear it if I was given it for free as well and not care it was too big.

I prefer a somewhat loose fit to my clothes. Just enough to have breathing room in my sport coats and pants, but not enough to look baggy. I suppose this has to do with a desire to visually alter my body shape (pear shaped), so the looser fit and higher waist that i desire in my pants will alter that to something more structured. Plus I'm tall, and skinny ish jeans with a low rise look awful on me.

Same goes for sport coats. I like broad shoulders (I feel my natural shoulders slope too far downward. Or it could be because of my posture), but the appearance of a trim waist (if it's too trim, it looks bad on me. So something with structured shoulders and a slightly suppressed waist are fine by me). I stay away from big shoulders and big waists, because I don't want a torso like a rectangle.

And the opposite fit is terrible. I hate flat front, low rise pants (they look too tight because of my pear shape). And the modern skinny suits look too tight on anybody wearing them; not just me. It's the skinny cut combined with the disproportional silhouette that doesn't work for everybody, especially me.

Saw Jane's Addiction live circa this performance - that was not the worst of Perry Farrel's sartorial crimes...

You mean he committed other kinds too :)

I like this kind of Dellamorte Dellamore (Cemetery Man) looseness in the dead of night. I guess this is the casual kind of iconic American Italian 'streetwear' only adapted for cemeteries. The wings are extras for punk rockers.
