Very cool. I would like the one inch more sleeve length.
What colour/model is this?
It's already at my knuckle if I straighten the sleeve, don't feel any need to go longer :)
It's the 1944 waxed khaki.
I wonder if anyone ever managed to fasten the throat latch on these. I definitely can't.

Looks fantastic on you! I remember my first Pike N1 looked as good on me (edit: see proof further down), but back then I was thin and could wear ...don't know if it was S or M. Sleeves were trimmer than on all the Pike ones I tried on later.
Did I say "Don't worry, it's just not for me, you may actually like it (many do) and it may fit better on you because you can wear it in a smaller size and this can actually be the factor."??? And I strongly believe it IS a factor. I remember Bfd70 looked similair good in his Pike N1 - many years ago! (edit: see proof 2 further down)

I wonder if anyone ever managed to fasten the throat latch on these. I definitely can't.
I always hold the latch over my kettle and steam it, then carefully pull it a little longer and iron it. I even displace the small button a bit. This helps.

That's the one for you! one of the best fitting example I've seen, very nice :)
Agree!

Here is the proof :)
Must have been one and a half decade ago here on the Lounge with very poor foto quality. I wish I'd have my figure back.

That did fit amazing indeed! I found that the Pike N-1 had very high arm-holes that made the jacket kind of restricting if you didn't get the size just right(but looks amazing when you do!) :)

I was in-between a size small and medium, while the size S looked good length wise and in the body, I had a hard time moving my arms freely and the medium looked a bit to baggy in the body imo.

You can have your figure back, it just takes time and effort. I felt the same way recently, particularly with all the pigging out I did during the holidays.
I have started walking a few miles in the hills after work every other day and I’m going to have more salads and less ice cream for awhile.

You both can do it! Never too late to start eating healthy. Staying / getting lean is 95% dependent on diet and only 5% on exercise. If you don't take genetic metabolism - there I'm just super lucky, but I guess that declines with age.
I sure hope to stay under 60kg or at least under 65kg for the rest of my life. Assuming I don't start building muscle which also adds the good kind of weight.

Unrelated : I also have a pair of PB long johns coming in! Thought on those? I will probably not post fit pics in that case haha.

But there is SO MUCH good food out there haha, ain't easy if you want to stay lean :D

Jokes aside, I agree that diet is the most important thing if you want to lose weight, I've tried Keto/LCHF-diets before with amazing results(but then again, so much amazing things to eat :D)

Cheers!

I'll be extremely happy if I can be as lean as you in your age (no idea how old you are though).
I'm sure you're eating rather healthy as well.
And your physical activities play a role for sure.
I turn 60 next month.
And my diet is super healthy, if you can call lots of sweets and coffee healthy. lol
But I don't drink soft drinks, alcohol rarely and I don't eat breakfast.
I do bodyweight training every morning, even if it's only for 20 minutes, and I usually go paddling at least once a week (but I'm not motivated at the moment).
Apart from that, I think I just got good genes.
