From Simonds. It is linen, and linen lined. The color is even a little richer golden brown, but I can't quite get it right in the photos. It is very nicely made.
Simonds' own picture may be a little closer in color, but is a little too orange or yellow.

Another jewel of a cap you made there.
Your skill at resourcing some amazing vintage fabrics & components is exceptional...
You have the good stuff & the pickers eye....... Great craftsmanship as well.
Ok I like what I see here Gentleman everyone is looking great & well Capped ...
jhe888, the Simonds linen is Outstanding good choice for the heat , I dig it !
Damian, now the cap & ensemble is too cool... the tie is Firme as well, good work & I know that's great vintage fabric you use.
Razzman, you got me Jazzed man quite the collection you have & worn well !
2 piece leather sweat with a open articulated section in between for adjustment for the brim belt
"the better kind" logo & 2 stripes are embossed into the leather & the front piece of leather is folded back.
Simonds does this to his leather sweats & I noticed it is very comfy & supports the break / drape between body to brim
which results in a cool side profile or pull to the side angle (articulation)
old school detail on buckle & snap
Krazy fabric & weave, any guesstimate to its age gents ??
Moco digs it & it is adjustable so he will have a few years use as he grows he is 2 & 1/2 now.
the boys do take care of there hats well
but
for the kids I do prefer fabric sweats verses leather as I can dry clean EZ so this cap wont be a daily accessible
Once again Moco proves to be the kid with the lid. Helps g-pappy has great taste and connections. That is one of my favorite vintage caps seen here so far.
