Ok I just found this on etsy. Is this even a borso?? I had o take a chance because of the price http://www.etsy.com/listing/110061914/40s-vintage-borsalino-grey-humphrey
oooooo I see. Many Europeans use the term "Borsalino" as Americans do "Fedora", so it often does not denote the maker.
vic, looks fantastic, congrats to the new one.!
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. +2... isn't that contrasting edge on the ribbon a nice touch?

Flatland, the liner and the model name on the sweat in quotes look like my "Savoy" model. I purchased it from Lounger Bond, and he said it was from the Sixties. Mine's not as stingy a brim, though -- 2 3/8".Any other thoughts about the possible age of my Via Veneto? Googling that name turns up very little information.
