The Postie just delivered a package I ordered from China over 3 (almost 4) months ago.Heartbreaking. Don’t give up, stranger things have happened.

Soooo. After waiting for well over three months now I'm going to have to live with the idea that these next two hats are not going to make it to my doorstep and must be written off as victims of the corona-pandemic. In the grand scheme of things there are worse things, but I can tell you that I'm pretty bummed out by this. So, for posterity, here are seller's pics.

that's a shame
Can I like and dislike this? That's a real shame if those don't show up, but after three months I guess it's probably not likely. Just curious, was this through the Global Shipping Program?
I really would have liked to have seen the Aligi ribbon on that Misto Ruitor. I have an Aligi ribbon on my Averla Gorasgu and it's definitely a shade of brown. It appears slightly so on the seller pics but for the most part looks closer to black on my screen.

How unfortunate. What beauties they are. You never know... maybe one rainy afternoon the postman will knock at your door with this long lost bounty.
sorry, stefan! beautiful hats that might still show up!
They are from the 1937-1953 timeframe, most likely late forties or early fifties.Oh. Sorry to see that, maybe they will come out with the COVID?
what decade do you place the hat? Your label info puts it mid 30s to early 50s? That $10 original price point for the Qualita Superiore is pretty cool. I hope it lands on your doorstep!

Could well be. I'd have to do some more digging and look back to what the seller managed to turn up (he wasn't their original owner).I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that both these hats are older than you think.

Yes......I am at 95% they will get to you, and .00017832% that either or both will be punti BUT...I still call "dibs" if they are! If for no other reason than I like to say...."DIBS"!!Here's to hoping they're still going to make it. Chances of them being a 7 punti are purely theoretical I think.
Thanks, Mark.
Thanks, Alan. Would be interesting to find out where they have been all this time if they show up eventually (fingers crossed).I hope these hats do make it to you eventually... the misto a cousin from the same store to this one:

Good looking hat, Vic. Unusual with this type of label that it doesn't have the model name on it. I've never seen the "torino" model name mentioned on any label but this proves it's been around for quite some time.
Welcome to the lounge. Interesting hat you've found there, Ivo. Dates from the mid-sixties to the mid-seventies; no way to tell exactly. "Biber" is the name for the colour. The second name "noce" is the name for the colour of the ribbon. Can't tell you how long Lippits was located in Haarlem exactly, but I know they were located in Hoorn earlier in the sixties. Nice catch.Hello, I'm Ivo and newbee at this forum. Usely I only wear Pork Pie hats. But yesterday at a thrift shop I found a nice Borsalino Fedora. Any knowledge about this hat is very welcome.
Thanks and have a nice evening.
