Just got this yesterday in the mail from an eBay listing. It’s 1300 pages long and has pretty much anything you can imagine going on with steam and diesel locomotives in that year. Thousands of photos and technical drawings of part of and whole locomotives…
Kalmbach reprinted this in 1971 and those copies usually go for well over $100. I paid $52 for this original edition, including shipping! Been looking for either this year or the 1944 version for a very long time now.

Good find, p51! Although the photos are probably black and white it should be a coffee table item, nevertheless. May you have hours of happy thumbing through that treasure!
