"Baby Bump" makes me want to puke. It's being pregnant!

I thought I was the only one who disliked this! Why must all the magazines insist on using that phrase when referring to a pregnant celebrity?

"No problem..." Of course it's not a problem, so why say it?!

I don't care for this one either. "No problem" is not and should not be a substitute for "You are welcome."

I have a friend that will launch into a 14-minute tirade whenever he hears the phrase uttered. lol

"Baby bump" is bad ... but there's one phrase (from an awful song by 'Fergie') that really makes me queasy: "lady lumps". It's evil to use the word "lump" to describe something beautiful.

"Baby Bump" is one of the worst examples of cultural infantalization out there right now. When I was growing up my mother taught me to call body parts by their proper name, and I knew the word "pregnant" before I started grammar school. All this cutesy-type magazine-cover stuff makes me just grind my teeth.
