I took the idea from a local hat shop that uses wires. I'd also seen the pictures from Optimo and though to do it this way. I do have a nice brush to keep the dust down. Its also in a spare room that sees little use. I haven't had a huge dust problem to date. I do tend to snap the snapable brims up. However, there are a few western conversions that take their shape pretty seriously.
I do have another section of wall that is open. How open that section of wall is might be curtailed by the wife walking past the new display wall. I placed one of her hats in the rack to be inclusive.
I plan on a bit of stain and poly for aesthetics, but wanted to get it on the wall as a proof of concept.
Pretty easy.
