That asking price kept me from even bothering to offer them anything. The listing went up a few times before you offered anything.
But it sure looks like a fantastic piece.

No doubt. I only meant that the price was out of my range.

I have to admit that even at 500.00 ,the hat would be worth it. New Borsalino Beaver hats are over 500.00 and don't come close to a hat like that. Now all we have to do is wait for a Stetson Ermine to pop up on Ebay again . Then you would see prices!!!!

I've never noticed a difference from these ventilation accommodations (including the Borsalino corrugated separator). This is a substantial hat... I wouldn't wear it in hot weather.

I didn't see this one linked in the Vintage Hatmakers list in the sticky titled "Links to Important Hat Forum Threads," but shouldn't it be?

Frank Stack surely was a prominent figure in the scene, and the hats....
