Thanks

The best make of these hats today is Isesa which produces the Roche brand. They have a website . We do carry their hats but not this style ...yet!

There is also Antonio Garcia. These are traditionally Equestrian riding hats I believe, worn in dressage etc. Though this maybe only an outlet, Garcia's have a large store in Seville near the bull ring and a web store http://www.sombrerosgarcia.com http://www.sombrerosgarcia.com I have put the direct link plus a cut and paste version.
These hats come in various materials from felts to pure silk and also costs can go up and up. Antonio Garcia's also sell full Spanish dressage clothing and after viewing their in store collection decided I did not quite look enough like Rudolf Valentino to be able to carry the look off in normal street attire.
maybe I need to see some pics of someone wearing one on the street rather than mounted.
The only person on the 'street' I have seen wearing this style is the bearded history expert on Pawn Stars and I don't think it suits him either. Just my oh so humble opinion.
Nice hats though, cheers, J.

Great information, thanks!

Can see this sombrero working in black with a white shirt, jeans with matching belt and boots. Maybe with a shorter black jacket of conventional cut.

Will definitely have to try one. :D

I personally think that Mark Hall-Patton looks good in his hat. Just what someone called "The Beard of Knowledge" should wear. Other than a Gandalf hat, that is...:)

This style is also worn by male Flamenco dancers with the short Bolero jacket.
