Shelly, I'm sorry to hear that. I can't stand it when people put the blame on the victim. Somehow though, it always boils back to being the victim's fault and I can totally relate.
A few years ago when I was a teacher, I had my gradebook on my desk (common practice for teachers) since I always mark my attendance in there. Well, at some point during the class a student got up and took my tube of lotion and squeezed lotion all over the page I had it opened to. (You might say how did you not see them? At the time, my classroom was a computer lab and during that particular class the students were working on the computers and I was heavily involved in helping students with their projects and answering questions and such. So a kid probably distracted me and and other one snuck up there and did the dirty deed)
Well, I see what has happened after the class leaves and go to get my assistant principal to tell him what happened. He had the audacity to tell me that I shouldn't have lotion on my desk. Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
