I'm going to order several lightweight felts from Art this season, and I've decided to sell some of my dress weights to keep the collection to a manageable number of hats. Someone's going to get a 100% beaver felt (or two) for a decent price, I get back some change, and Art gets to make more hats. Everybody wins.
This one is a VS custom hat in the dress weight blue smoke felt, a cool lighter medium gray. The ribbon is a 17 ligne black; the brim is stitched with a narrow underwelt. Royal purple liner. Dimensions 5.5" open crown x 2 3/8" brim. No issues. The crown is currently creased with a diamond crease and tight front pinch, see pics.
The hat was made to fit a head circumference of 57.3cm.
