Well, it's time to thin out the herd. This Whippet is a beautiful chocolate brown (much more chocolatey than in the photos) and it's in terrific shape. The felt is flawless and the sweat is soft and supple. This lid has been worn (though not by me very much - maybe twice) but it obviously has been cared for nicely. The only issue is a small stain on the brim ribbon binding which, as you probably know, is a common occurrence on 65 year old fedoras.
I'm reluctant to bid this lid a fond farewell, but I know it will go to a good home.
