My first Langlitz, size 46 - 10 pocket Columbia bought off the rack. I loved the jacket, but sold it to fund a bike project. fast forward a few years and I recently found it up for sale again on Advrider forum.

My apologies for the gesture.

My custom cossack collar Sidewinder/Timberline. My only regret was ordering it minus hand warmer pockets - though that's easily rectified.

2nd hand Langlitz Columbia, I had the collar remade in Portland base, I dislike the look of the standard, and asked for a 40’s « togs » collar.
I might also ask for an alteration of the back kidney « tail » panel, for a more straight shaped 40’s look.
I think it’s one of the most comfortable jacket of my collection.

This is a great modification to a vintage jacket! Did you (or Langlitz) have any issues with matching the new collar to the vintage leather of the rest of the jacket?

My daughter had been wearing a tacky cross zip mall thing. I could not stand for the slumming so i upped her game to the top with a sweet Cascade.

Looks great! What does the back look like? Single dip yolk no gussets? Im in the que trying to decide what I want. Was thinking straight zip cascade w collar and two hand warmer pockets, but benny was pushing/saying get a modified racing timerline. Not sure if there is any difference other than the gussets on the back.

Pretty simple really. Just a straight back with single yoke.

Thanks i think that looks great! I dont think my previous cascade gussets were very functional anyways

Received this cascade today from regius,, absolutely delighted, perfect dealing with reg and the jacket fits exactly as it should, hardly know its on its so comfortable, Sat on my bikes and there's nothing I would change.,i can safely say I have found my grail jacket.

My new Langlitz 10 pocket padded Columbia came just after the holidays. The anniversary tag was included for jackets made this year. After a owning a lot of vintage jackets, I am enjoying the fit of a custom made for me jacket. Ironically, it does also make me appreciate the few vintage jackets I have found that do fit really well.

I am glad that I went with the flat back (no shoulder gussets/action back). The kidney panel does have the bottom curve, which I think I would be glad for if I ever ride with this jacket. It is a very easy wearing jacket, which is good. I anticipate the break in will take years

Great looking jacket, can I ask roughly what size it is,, looking A1 from the front view, looks big from the back, with wide arms. Definitely looks like room to layer, would suit riding in Scotland.

He might have specified the aggressive sport riding position on their order form, so the back has more material and the front is short. Plus he deleted the action pleats. That's just my theory. Jacket looks awesome though. Can't wait for my Langlitz to get done!

Thanks Peter and Canuck! The sizing was custom for me. I tried on both the stock 42 and 44 in the shop and neither worked for me. I think I have broad shoulders for my waist and chest size, which can throw off standard sizes. I am not sure how (or if) they compensate for no action back with extra material across the back. I asked for the “not for riding” fit, but I was not after a super tight fit. I am also wearing just a t shirt in the pics.
