Holy****!!!! I'm not sure I would've even bothered with wheel covers.
That being said, I'm also sure I'd never pay money for the little gate to let me exit a parking garage ever again, either, nor leave an abandoned shopping cart unmolested in a parking lot. As a matter of fact, I can think of all kinds of fun I could have in a truck like that. That's a deer hunting deluxe edition.[emoji3]
I like the way you think. Demolition derby! :D

Darn right. I know it's not an easy project, but I couldn't let it be sent to junk. These are getting rarer and rarer because people do just that.

He is going to fix it back to its former glory not make it The Burnout Machine again. :p

This is actually the vehicle I plan on learning body work on. In the truck's defense, just like all Wisconsin vehicles, the driver's side is WAYYY worse than the passenger side. All the truck really needs is a new door (which I already have) one box side (though I may be getting a good deal on a box) as for the fender, rockers and cab corners, those are all very easy projects that I already have parts lined up for. As far as a truck this age around here, that's getting off easy.

Mechanically, it's sound. Runs great, drives great, new brakes, new hoses, alternator, radiator, all the little valves, sensors, etc have been replaced (not that there's a lot on a '77), all the wiring has been gone through, too. I can get in and go. I do plan on replacing the carb just because I'm getting a bargain on an almost new one. A friend is getting a bigger one and I hate the manual choke on mine.

I'm well connected enough to get all the parts at a bargain, and the labor is one of love. When all is said and done, I think most people will think it's a beautiful truck.

I hope you are good with body work. :p

I figured you would make it right. I am sure it will be great in the end.
Out here a truck has to be REALLY old to look like that. :p
