Do oyu own that tie, TwoTypes? I once tried to buy just that tie, but it went quite high on eBay, unsurprisingly. A Boy's Quality, I believe?

Yes. I bought it on Ebay two weeks ago, for the rather nice price of £4.99 (+£2.50 postage). I think I was rather lucky! There have been some real Tootal bargains on Ebay recently.

Another couple hundred in it- I keep finding boxes and racks that I'd stashed away places.
Here are the ones in rotation that I keep out. Another three racks like this on the opposite wall. The rest are on racks in the closet.

I've started scanning mine, too. It brings the fold lines out a bit too much, though. I'll admit, too, that I'll photoshop some of the flaws.

Some of those are real masterpieces: Surfer, no.4, ships tennis and cars, oil rig. The imagination that went into designing those!! Absolutely lovely. Does anyone make ties like this today?

Thanks for posting that picture. Next time my wife says "You've got too many ties!" I shall pull out that picture and explain that I am a mere amateur compared to others.
