But the teeth don't even touch the tie, but bite into the shirt; you know that...I agree that it would also be cool if it were an inch wider.

Those LA ties are their own breed. I admit, I've never heard the term 'tie shark' before, but I like it. That tie, though, has to be worn by some sort of 'shark.'

Some people just use the tie shark to clip both blades together---not to the shirt. That is when the tieshark bites like a geat white. The weight and the movement just kill a tie.:eusa_doh: I don't even want to think what it would do to the shirt. Shirtshark.
I am glad you agree about the width.
Oh and I got my Signet tie today. It is at the dry cleaners. I hope it comes back in one piece.
