Some Friday finds.

A Jake Overseek (1912 - 1983) oil on board (16” x 10”) with a mid-century vibe for $3.00.

An RRL bandana (21.5” x 21.5”) for $5.00. About all the RRL I can afford.

A kitschy kitchen prayer for $3.00.

A 8” x 7” Nambé butterfly bowl from back when they were still made in New Mexico. $20.00.

Korean War Veteran’s Cavalry Hat
Picked this up at the flea market this morning. Unfortunately I don’t know it it’s a Stetson.

A few finds.

Henckels 7” chef knife for $4.63.

A Hawaiian shirt for $5.00.

A couple of well worn 1950s/1960s bandanas. $1 each.

Two pairs of new Key Imperial overalls for $15 each. They retail for $77 each in these larger sizes.

Enzyme Wash:

Color more accurate in these label pics.

Rigid (and they mean it). My new Sunday-go-to-meeting pair.

Braved the heat and went to the flea market yesterday. Found an Alabama souvenir glass and a happy chef spoon rest.

$15
Got an old sewing stand / cabinet. The top of the stand is where the machine was placed while in use. The top "drawer" is actually where the spools of thread were kept. It opens and closes more like a revolving door, as opposed to pulling it out. The bottom drawer is pretty large and is where the sewing machine was stored when not in use. Looks like the space between the bottom drawer and the floor was designed with room to accommodate a foot pedal underneath.

$3
An older wooden jewelry box. I believe it's lined with felt.

1940s/1950s Davy Crockett bandana for $4.00.

Does booze bought from a small town liquor store that is closing their doors after 54 years and selling the liquor at 70% off count as “thrifting”?

They did most of their volume selling beer and Fireball Cinnamon Whisky shooters to folks floating rivers in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways area.

I was in need of restocking my summer gin and rum options so bought a few things from their picked over inventory.

70’s steel craftsman tool box, drawer locking mechanism still works great. Even has the original sticker on the front, lol. Not a bad for $11. Will clean up nicely!
