This is how you do it at the Casino....I hit several not so big jackpots on this Machine, and then moved to a $5.00 machine....what a wonderful time to spend with my Wife on our Anniversary....
Well then Congratulations....( a little late then never)!
Boy you are going to get brownie points for that one of she sees it. lol lol Then again, she does find all those shoes for you.....True but for me, to have someone as wonderful as my Wife to share everything in life with is a real treasure! I sort of look at it like this is the start of being in heaven with a beautiful angel.

But these are going to be the "cats pajama's"...Made to order from Vass.....due to my luck at the Casino, my Wife was busy making an order for me to have these bad boys made! I am going to be pacing the floor waiting for them to be made and then shipped! I have a few new suits to wear and these all will look just spiffy with my attire!
Now, I have to find a home for some of the shoes I already have, there is no room for any more shoes!
You are a Big-Timer now! Vass ownership takes one to the next level of shoe collecting. MANY congrats. Be SURE to get at least one pair with Goyser stitch. It is what Vass is so famous for.
By the way, let me know what you want to unload from the rest of the "Herd" of shoes. You have great taste and I can help you unload, I am sure.
It will be far more worse than that my friend! Oh lord have mercy....it was already some nice pairs BEFORE we left to go to the Casino to celebrate our Anniversary....and as luck would have it, I hits several nice jackpots.....we got home later last night....and my Wife lets a few "cats" out of the bag....lol! Pictures to follow later, however, I was right about the Barkers....and a pair of NOS Specs from J&M, but the real bread and butter going with the steak and potato dinner is, MTO' Vass shoes, she said she was "eye balling" them and now with the extra cash in the stash from the Casino, she will be emailing for the three pair special someone has on line.....and then she says, she wants a pair of custom boots.....for herself! lol! Now she has those lil bitty feet as some small Gals have, and I told her, "geez, do they make them that small"?..."maybe we can check out the boots made for children"?????? I mean it is a no brainer....custom made boots for women are expensive....lil kiddies boots are a dime a dozen.....which means, maybe one more pair of Barkers perhaps? lol! I actually do not mind is she wants to have some custom made boots for herself....as it is, I am going to the bakery soon to grab a "strawberry pie" for her....least I can do for my Wife, specially as she is shopping like crazy for me, and the money won at the Casino is funding more shoes....we had a blast!
True but for me, to have someone as wonderful as my Wife to share everything in life with is a real treasure! I sort of look at it like this is the start of being in heaven with a beautiful angel.
It would behoove you to try on the various lasts offered by Vass before ordering. Personally, I can't wear half of them. FL member HungaryTom can be of great assistance if you can't try on the genuine article.
As I have suggested before she is the ne plus ultra wife for a shoe tragic.
Very sage advice. That U and its later K derivative are sleek Italian lasts developed by Ugolini and were the reason Vass took off as a shoemaker...that and the hand made aspect. There was not a huge market for Budapesters outside Mitteleuropa.
Just a historical point. Vass was until recently a woman's shoe maker that went over to men's as well.
