In that case it's not my first And they call themselves "The 1940s and 50's clothing company", great.. :eusa_doh:
In the 50s the suede moved up and over the vamp half way.
All round good buy = Churchs. Round 1960s I'd say with that design and of course made of seal which won't happen again.

Those actually look like elephant to me. I have a pair of elephant boots made by the old Palace boot shop. Those are identical in texture to mine.
elephant and seal can appear similar. The above pair are the Church's sealskin (although there are other textures of seal. Church's had a run where they made shoes from ANYTHING that moved & breathed.
Any idea of an approximate date of these shoes?
