Beautiful shoes, and MissLaurieMarie, you hit the jackpot with your Boxing Day excursion. I especially like the Diane dress on you. I'm having myself a little post-Christmas shopping spree. Just ordered this dress:

and this skirt, which I think will look nice with a simple blouse and cardigan. A week or so ago I got this dress to wear to my company holiday party and LOVED it. I recently had to put a bunch of clothes in the swap bag and realized I lost all my cold-weather skirts, so now I'm on a mission.

Beautiful frocks, gals...and LD, what a gorgeous piece of fashion ephemera. I love the fashions from the very late 20s to very early 30s (inset goring galore) and that gown on the left is just a sight to see in colour!

I got this one for $8, shipped. I can't believe no one bid on it. It was put out by Singer, and has all the major pattern makers in it! Du Barry, Butterick, Mc Call. I've never seen anything like it.

I treated myself to a sparkly fur pin that I wore on New Years Eve (on my dress, even though it has 3 prongs on the back):

And I bought these gold and pearl earrings today, as a gift for myself to celebrate that I officially become a doctor (of philosophy, not medicine) on Friday!

Some great Summer dresses:

Another Cover Girl of Miami dress (I have five of their designs now!):

A NWT Alfred Shaheen - this is lovely on but quite big on me but I'm sure my tailor can sort that out:

Thanks LinaSofia! Seems a bit odd to be thinking about clothes for Spring/Summer as the worst of our weather is still to come I imagine - still it's nice to think of sunnier climes!

yes I think it's always good to buy out of season! You get better bargains that way :)

I bought these Miss L Fire boardwalk shoes today! I've been hankering after them all autumn and couldn't let them pass by now in the 40% off sale.
