The Heartbreaker Diner dress? That's actually the dress I was trying to knock off! It was out of my shopping budget so I tried to make something similar.

I just noticed how dark it photographed and it really does look black but it's actually navy blue.

Yes, I think that's the one (and below). I bought it a while ago, but I've only worn it twice. I much prefer the cut of the one you've made, it's amazing Jennifer - well done!

Thanks Inky and Kamikat, I'm finding it fun to make hats and I'm getting braver about wearing them.I had a great time at the dance last night, and got asked to dance by a wider than usual assortment of partners, plus had many compliments on my outfit, so I think it's a winner. Inky, as far as my experience going natural goes, the year long transition was a little uncomfortable, but now its all my own color, I like it. There was a long span of iffy transitional color, and its a big relief to have it grown out.
