Great print Miss Sis and lovely hat Hatstruck! I must spend less time in the pasture and more time in the sewing room!
Oh, and may I ask if the wardrobe has a rail more commonly seen today (across the width) or a metal one that pulls out? Odd question- just curious! I don’t think I could take it if it had shelves as well- lovely bedroom suites are all too much for me to handle….
Thanks!!Your sweater is gorgeous!
Everyone's projects are lovely! I hardly have anytime to do any sewing for me it seems! But you all make me want to do so!
Hatstruck Wow!!! that hat is lovely! I really love the rose!
Holy smokes! I'm seriously in awe of your sweater! The colors are amazing. I can't believe you already finished that, and I didn't know it was you who bought it! Yay!
GORGEOUS WORK! I wish I was a better knitter!
Oh, I like that!
Oops! I totally forgot about that I'll take pics soon.
I don't remember the size offhand, but I did use the hook that they called for in the instructions and the yarn was Lion Brand Fisherman's Yarn. I think I either got it at Michael's or Joann Fabrics.
Can't wait to see what you make!
I think I got a bit overly ambitious in the project I'm working on now and it's taking me longer than I thought. The last project went so fast I think I gauged my speed/ability better than it is in reality lol
I'm 5'1". I took a .5 tuck above the waist and a .5 tuck about 1in above the pleats and used a 1in hem.In fact I liked it enough to order it. And it just came. My question to you is, did you shorten it
a lot? I measured the front piece and its 52"long. I'm 5'6" and it comes to my ankle bone.
If you shortened it, did you take it up above or below the kick pleat?
I finished my first summer sewing project, even though I can't wear it yet! A blouse and shorts made from vintage cherry linen/cotton. More here http://willowhomestead.blogspot.com/
