Schott 618 sizing...

Newbie here looking for a bit of advice on Schott sizing.

Basically, I've previously owned a 118 Perfecto, size 46. However, there were a few things that bugged me, namely:

- The sleeves were too long by a couple of inches and finished about halfway down the back of my hand
- It was a bit wide and boxy in the torso and upper arms

My question is, I'm looking at getting myself a 618 for the slightly trimmer fit but what size should I be looking at to ensure I don't have a repeat of the problems listed above?

For reference, I'm 6ft 2in with a 46in chest and am not bothered about layering, just wearing it over a t-shirt or thin-ish shirt.

Thanks!

Tbh, the most important thing is the sleeve length. I just hate having them halfway down the back of my hand.
I think they do tend to have longer sleeves so that when your arms are forward (in a motorcycle riding position) the sleeves don't ride up so high that your arms are exposed. Generally with the zips closes at the wrist they don‘t hang too far down your hand.

I think your best bet would be to email Schott and request the sizing chart for the 618. Then you can compare those numbers with your 118 and make an informed decision.

Agreed. More recent 118s (I think in the last 25 years or so, if memory serves) have been identical proportions to the 618 in the next size up. I.e. a Size 46 118 will match a Size 48 618, or a size 46 618 will be the same as a size 44 118. On the whole my own experience with Schott sizing has been they come up a bit small; my original 618 was a 46 and it me like a 42 in most Aeros. I now have a size 50 618, which fits me like a 46 or a 48 in some other brands.

The 618/613 do not have a trimmer fit than the 118.

The only difference is the sizing number. A 118 in 40 is exactly a 618 in 42 in fit.

Hey, I wasn’t really planning to try anything related to online platforms from Australia that evening, I was just casually going through a few discussions while relaxing. At some point I saw hellspin online casino https://hellspinonlinecasino.net/ mentioned and decided to open it more out of curiosity than anything else. The first few minutes were pretty average and I didn’t think I’d stay long, but I kept clicking around and trying different sections just to see how it works. Eventually the session turned out better than expected and I ended up spending more time there than I originally planned.
Since the 618 is cut much slimmer and shorter than the 118, you actually might want to stick with a 46 or even size up to 48. If you drop to a 44 for a trimmer torso, the shoulders will likely be way too tight for a 46" chest, and the jacket will feel like a straitjacket. The 618 naturally fixes that boxy torso and long sleeve issue anyway.
