Schott 141 measurements

Hi guys, anyone have a new model Schott 141? I don't understand the measurements they have, because on the schott site they give measurements and on other sites they are different. For example, on the official Schott website they tell that the pit to pit measurement in size 40 is 24 inches, while on other sites and in eBay ads it is 21.50.

I am not familiar with this particular jacket but 24 inches for size 40 sounds extreme. Contact Schott customer support and ask for the measurements.

Compare the measurements to a similar jacket you already have that fits well on you and choose accordingly.

If you are buying new from Schott, I would trust that spec sheet and would optionally ask to confirm the specific measurements of the jacket before sending it out to me.

If you are buying used, ask for pictures of the measurements to see how they measured the jacket.

Double that so 48” is the total chest . They’re giving you just the pit to pit ie 1/2 of total

It even says chest 1/2 on the document provided . This allows 8 inches ease. Or 8inch above what your human chest measures

In general, I know that the model 141 is more big comparing to the 641.
so my question is if I have a 40 size for 641 model, should I thake a 38 size for a 141? considering that the 641 in 40 size is a little thight on the shoulder for me, so my fear is that the 141 in size 38 fits me well in the chest but narrow in the shoulders...

It’s because the 141 and 641 include a zip-in fleece jacket.

641 in 40 = 141 in 38, correct. The 141 might have a bit more give due to the softer naked leather.
