lol Yes and no..... just getting the house in order and doing vacation laundry. I left it clean, but I guess I should have had sheets over everything. It looked like a haunted mansion with dust and cobwebs when I got back, even though someone was here to take care of the cat :eusa_doh:

Oooh this is one of my favourites, especially when Jean Arthur asks Lionel Barrymore what her grandmother was like, and he says "Look in the mirror."

The Rains Came (1939) with Myrna Loy, Tyrone Power and George Brent. Amazing movie.

The Big Street (1942) with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball. Really really good, but not a typical movie for the Lucy we all know.

This Modern Age (1931) with Joan Crawford, Pauline Frederick, Neil Hamilton, Monroe Owsley. Normally I'm not a big fan of Joan Crawford, but she was great in this.

Female (1933) with Ruth Chatterton and George Brent. I absolutely loved this movie

The Rich Are Always with Us (1932) with Ruth Chatterton, George Brent, Bette Davis and John Miljan. I loved this one too and really enjoyed Bette in it.

It was a Tyrone Power double feature at my house last night

This Above All (1942) with Tyrone Power and Joan Fontaine. Beautiful movie, with kind of a corny ending.

Jesse James (1939) with Tyrone Power, Henry Fonda and Nancy Kelly. Not the most accurate version, but I liked it.
