IRL, she was known to eat crackers in bed.

Though usually a deal breaker for me, it might be something I could overlook.

Human Desire (1954) with Glenn Ford, Gloria Grahame and Broderick Crawford. Sexy movie.

The Blue Dahlia (1946) with Alan Ladd, Veronica Lake and William Bendix. Great movie, but is it just me or is Alan Ladd's head really small [huh]

The rest of him was, too. Veronica Lake was one of the few actresses who made him look large -- usually he'd be wearing elevator shoes and standing on a box in love scenes.

I knew he looked unusually small! I thought it might just be my imagination, but now that I think about it, Veronica Lake was around 4'11" I think and he's only a little bit taller than her in the movie.

The Human Comedy (1943) with Mickey Rooney, Frank Morgan and James Craig.

It's about small town life in California during the war and is now one of my favorite movies. There are some tearjerking moments, so have tissue handy.
