OK, so I'm watching "Entourage" last night on HBO. At the end, they run previews of next week's show. RBH -- take that panama you've got, keep the wide ribbon on, re-do the black bound edge, and you've got yourself the panama worn by Kevin Dillon in next week's episode!

Sure enough, Dillon is wearing a fairly narrow brim panama with a wide black ribbon and a black bound edge. In light of the recent back and forth on this topic here, I think I muttered something like "I can't believe it" -- which, of course, made no sense to my wife, who was also watching the show.

So there you go, RBH -- out in front of the Hollywood trendsetters!

The way I do it is to put warm water in the sink,, I then put the crown [brim side up] in the water ... I leave it in the water till the crown is full. I then bring the hat up and let the water drain out.

Tha's been my method as well.

Works with fedoras (especially Akubras) as well -- although they never fill up with water . . .
