the RCs I had had a topcoat that was pretty impermeable. When I see a shiny/glossy topcoat I usually assume that is the case.

Overall, I’m very happy with this jacket and would rate it 9/10.
This is a size 40 Santa Clara by RC in Shinki Horsehide from Mirrorball Japan.

The jacket has 55cm pit to pit flat measured
For reference I’m 175cm(5’9) and 76kg(170lbs) with just over 41 inch chest(104cm)

I’m glad I didn’t size up to a 42—it would have been massive! I also feel I made the right choice by not going with the Hercules, as it would have looked more like a coat on me. Since I only wear mid- to high-waisted pants and stand at 5’9”, the proportions just wouldn’t have worked as well

Only complaint I have and it’s a weird one, I was hoping the leather would have a stronger and intoxicating smell…… but I couldn’t smell a thing!
Probably too early to say but the next one would be badalassi again, mainly for the smell!

Awesome, glad it fits! It looks great!

In relation to the smell, mine has quite a strong smell. As as I open my wardrobe I get a strong aroma, but I haven't had Badalassi to compare too. Maybe it come out more with wear.

Confirming smell is coming out after just one wear! Much excited!!
