I have a question.. I'm still trying to get a jacket that comes close to that of Kaneda of the anime Akira, checkout pictures if you don't know that anime/manga. It's very 80s.
Now I gave up on leather Jackets that look like that characters jacket and focused more on nylon bomber jackets. I've seen Schott has a model that's called CWU-R and it looks like this
It is very cropped, which i think it's pretty cool because that's how I think the Akira jacket looks like and also has a very 80s flavour to it. Sometimes I see this model referred to as "early 90s fit cwu" can someone tell me, what's up with that? Because I actually see this cwu model on pictures a lot more with a regular fit, is the "90s cropped fit" discontinued? Are there two different versions?
Also does alpha Industries have a model like this too? I've seen they have a cwu-45 model, but is it also cropped? I can't really tell by pictures. It seems they don't have a red one either. Any other suggestions regarding similar fits/models in red?
Oh and another thing..I found an avirex jacket that looks kinda similar too. No further Infos on that Jacket...it just seem to lack the pocket flaps, see attachment.
