No, you've got it wrong Ray, I'm the center of attention!:p J/K

Matt looks good in that coat, it really suits his style and taste. The tie works with it too but, I think there are other ties that would work ummm, better.;)

We need to find you Matt, some dark brown pants to wear with that coat! I think that would help out a lot!

Oops- Sorry, Rob. The comment was directed to Paisley.
Your right about Matt's jacket- fits the context, too.
What kind of fabric is that jacket made out of, Root?

P.S. Do you guys worry about grass stains on your vintage?

Thanks Root; it's a nice jacket. Like Matt said, if they fixed the armholes and perhaps made the lapels a little bigger it would be perfect.

That and ditched the leather elbow pads and upper right yolk patch. I'm not a big fan of those details even though I know they did have them in the 20's and 30's for hunting but, when ever I see those on a coat, the theme song from "Three's Company" comes on in my head.

If J Peterman made this coat without the vents and the leather details then, count me in! Oh, and made it a whole suit and made smaller armholes so, that's when I'd buy it.;)

PS. You're welcome!

Some pictures from over Christmas break while visiting different places in Taiwan.

Don't you love it when you can influence your peers to dress like you?
My friend Ed came to visit us in Taiwan from New York, and I guess I made him feel under-dressed...
The jacket is from the 60's and the fabric is quite fuzzy. (Marc, this is the suit that I was talkign about a while ago where I couldn't place what the weave was.)

It looks like this in close up:

The pants are brown corduroys from Gap that are now just barely too short for me.
