Interesting how the size of this model changed over the years. To me it appears the crown height and shape stayed the same but the brim width varies on mine from 2 7/8" to 2 1/2" and I have a few with 2 3/8" brims. Obviously I like them all but much prefer the larger brim on this one.

Between you and me, Stefan, I love the lady's pithy wit. She honed it on years in the ambulance service, where she served as a paramedic. Those in need of her skills got full attention, malingerers on the other hand, got short shrift.

The lady still has difficult days, but she copes. At present she is in her cabin working on a new pair of trousers for me, that might mean a new hat to compliment said trousers, we shall see. Her recovery continues, the prayers, thoughts and kindness extended by The Lounge has been an appreciated blessing.
