Are prices of brand new Japanese brands leather jackets cheaper at the physical stores in Japan?

In particularly, Y'2 and Double Helix Works Type 1 and Type 2 Horsehide jackets.

If so, where can they be purchased in person around Tokyo?

Not sure about DH, but Y’2 is definitely cheaper in Japan.

Plenty of places stock them. Check their websites for retailers

Depending on where you live. I purchased a Y2 jacket online from RealDeal and with tax and duties I paid about $300 below local MSRP.
