Just wanted to proudly showcase my new Thedi jacket. The type is MTC-10075 in heavy beewaxed horsehide ("waxy horsehide camel"). Super soft leather. I ordered it withe two fur collars - curious to find out which one sees more use.

The acting model is of course nowhere as cool as on the Thedi website :)

Love the dark fur. Wish I had thought of getting one with my jacket. Maybe the next one.

First a little background - been in the market for a new, non motorcycle, casual piece in a brown color way for a while, and I saw this ready to ship memphis at thurston bros and decided to give it a try.

First the fit- Honestly, a little longer then I would go for if ordering custom. I am 5'7 and think the sweet spot for me is 23 - 23.5 back length, where as this is 24. Also, I think the sleeves are half an inch too long, but creasing should take care of that pretty quick. Other then that I am thrilled with the fit.

Construction-

Hands down the best I've seen. Ive owned two other high end jackets, an RMC and a Flat head. The flat head was very clean but as it was not one of their top tier jackets, i don't believe it was made in their in-house shop. The RMC was also clean, with one minor deficiency. But this jacket puts both of them to shame. The stitching is perfect, with beautiful attention to detail, and a complicated, yet refined design which is expertly executed.

The leather-

...is on another level. It is veg tanned toscano buffalo in hand dyed cacao. It's depth and richness is only matched by the character of its grain, which varies from smooth, with and almost nubuck nap to it, to pebbled (kind of like cowhide), to striated (like LW's heavy duty weight), to deeply creased like elephant skin.

- I know I could have exchanged this for a custom build to get that inch off the length, but its not worth the several months, plus hundreds of more dollars that it would take to do so. And, though this is longer then I would go for, I still think the length looks good, and am thrilled with the fit over all.

Hi am I am looking to buy from Thedi, how long did it take to arrive after payment and what was the cost? Import duty? Thanks
I waited around 5 months for my custom made jacket. The price depends on the model but I was surprised that it was relatively close to a retail price of a non custom jacket.

Since I live in Europe I didn't pay Vat or import duty.

O MAMA WEMBANYAMA this is a fine one(had to sprint home from work when I saw it was being delivered haha).

I found this Thedi MTC-127920 on Ebay a while ago and I couldn't resist it's magic haha.
It's made from Kingdom cowhide and have a hint of green in the color(very hard to get a closeup pic with my shitty phone, I'll take one later when the sun is out) which is a new leather for me, but I must say I'm very impressed how it feels and looks!

The jacket came with a fur body/neck-lining but I'll mostly use it without or just with the neck-liner.

I've just tried the jacket on and holy smokes the mobility is crazy! I still need to lose the weight I've put on during the holidays but this may take the crown for being my most comfy leather jacket, but I need to spend some more time with it to be sure :)

Here are some shitty pictures, will try to take some better when I have the chance :)
