The story of these two Lobbia (Homburg) hats is rooted in my curiosity and love for this particular style.

The first is a Borsalino "Grand Prix Paris"—a designation typically reserved for Borsalino hats that deviated from standard specifications, featuring unique, non-conformist details.

This Homburg has a ribbon trim along the brim in a subtle violet hue, along with a distinctive "rounded" shape—a rarity to come across—complemented by felt and trimmings that provide a striking contrast.

It is a size 6 (equivalent to a 59), but, as occasionally happens, it unfortunately does not fit my head.

The other Lobbia (Homburg) bears the label of Ravazzotti, from Genoa, on the linear.

I initially assumed he was an independent hatter, but it turns out to be a "reconstruction" of a hat with this same silhouette.

If I recall correctly, the dates of this refurbishment—which took place in the 1950s—are noted.

The original label is white with red borders; it looks familiar, though I cannot quite place the manufacturer.
It is a size 57 and has a perfect shape.

Feel free to write to me for any further details—color, measurements, or anything else you’d like to know about these two Lobbie (Homburg)
