My first Disney.
For some reason the images were not showing up for me. But I was able to see your response to Jim further down the page with the tag. This is what I see in my Sears Westerner.

This is all that's there. Was there a manufacturer tag under the sweat? No pressure if you think the sweat won’t handle the look.
went back and compared my 3 Beall Brothers. It has the Resistol-y manufacturing tag. But that reorder tag….. looks about the same. (Man whoever owned this one must have been a big fan of the brill cream)This is all that's there.

Wonderful find with a very interesting lining, Steve! You know I love the old Woolies.Echter Tamino, "Special - Marke Tamino Feinste - Qualität -", Wool, 57 cm, possibly mid to late 1930s. This Wool Soft Felt has the yet to be solved mystery "Arbeits - No: Controll - No: Lohn - No:" and "Qual. Form Farbe Garnitur" Stamps. I assume "Tamino" is based on the hero tenor in Mozart's 1791 opera The Magic Flute. Unfortunately after much searching I wasn't able to find the company that had this trademark. I like finding these older Wool Soft Felt Hats.

Very nice velour, Stefan. Good to see they're still out there! This one showed up yesterday. And it's an intriguing one.
Brückel's velours fedora in black. Size 58 (too big for me alas) with the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown at a generous 12cm at the center dent. High quality velour with a great hand hat which had me stumped for various reasons. First of all it felt a bit rough when I first handled it, which sometimes happens with these older velour hats. This was different though because I found out it has the nap flowing clockwise. I think I have one other hat with that feature, a hat by Vezzani. Can't place the AF on the size label.
The other thing that has me wondering is wether this was meant to be a rip off of Hückel or if that it's just a coincidence. I'm thinking it's its own thing. Unfortunately there's no label under the sweatband to help us along.

Do you really think the wife unit doesnt know new hats arrived? lolGlory in the heights!!
My wife left today before the mail came, and I got home in time to get my two new hats unboxed and photographed. Today was a good day.
I’m currently wearing one of them, so she’ll see it soon. But as I’ve mentioned, it’s the box that tends to trigger an unfortunate response lol.
I ordered this hat from Mr. Black because I wanted a more durable, less precious summer hat in an interesting shape. I had previously bought one of his “Safari Edition” hats on eBay so I could see one for myself, but it’s in a size I can’t wear. That one may end up belonging to my wife, or I may pass it along to another BBB fan. Time will tell.
For this one, I wanted the widest possible brim. It’s supposed to be a sun hat, after all, so what better time to push my preconceived limits?
I also like to get something a little unusual when I order a custom hat—something less likely to turn up on the secondary market. It makes me feel a little better about spending the money.

Nice! I love my HJ Raiders Poet (without the turn), but I’ll order the Temple one of the days. I like the lighter pinch of the Temple.HJ Temple Poet - been trying to figure out which Indy Hat I wanted to get for a minute, and this one decided for me. Got a pretty good deal on an essentially brand new hat in my size.
I'm not a big fan of the Temple shape, though, so I'm going to have it reshaped into a Raiders Turn hat.
Nice hat - rabbit felt with a nice feel to it, it has the dimensional brim, all it needs is a little reshaping and some de-linting and it will be perfect.

Sigh… I know - I’m a bit conflicted to be honest - I hate to change something that is Correct, but I just prefer the iconic, instantly recognizable Raiders shape, and it’s exactly the same hat with a different bash, so it’s not really any harm done the way I see it.I love my HJ Raiders Poet (without the turn), but I’ll order the Temple one of the days. I like the lighter pinch of the Temple.
That’s really nice Rick. Very cool little feature on the ribbon. Definitely giving me space race vibes.Nice little light grey Pennys Marathon arrived today.... couple little imperfections but should clean up nicely. I was pretty light on light grey hats and couldnt resist. Cute modern jetliner/spaceship silkscreen on the ribbon so Im guessing early to mid 60s.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Reminds me of the various Resistol/ BR hat lines of the 60s that were named after various jetliners ( 880, 707, 727)That’s really nice Rick. Very cool little feature on the ribbon. Definitely giving me space race vibes.
There is so much going on in that. They might as well have sent that in a pizza box. This is probably the wrong thread for this, since this one is already back in the mail, but here we go.
This came taped to a piece of cardboard and wrapped in a plastic bag, which annoyed me, so I sent it back.
It was a 7 1/4, but it didn't give me any trouble stretching to fit. I could have sent it to a competent hat guy and had it reblocked, but I can't do the work myself and it wasn't worth the additional expense.
There didn't seem to be any real damage to the straw. However, at the end of the day, it wasn't really adding much to my straw collection and I prefer not to reinforce bad behavior.
Borsalino straw - on it's way back to it's owner, carefully packaged and properly protected in a suitable reinforced box. Hopefully they will use it the next time they ship a hat. : )
