If anyone can track a Morello down it's you, Stefan. Happy hunting!Well, colour me jealous, Steve. Morello is a colour that has eluded me so far. Such a great colour, but it will happen someday!

Very nice indeed! The liner colour works really well with the felt colour. Fabulous shape to the hat. Congrats. My new Gannon was delivered this morning, I will get better pictures later. Its beaver dress weight in granite with a 5 1/2" open crown and a 2 3/4" pencil curled brim. Very nice!

Shame about that one, Stefan. It looks a real cool hat.Have to make a bit of a headstart for tomorrow (which is my usual posting day). Quite a few hats came in so I'll work ahead a bit.
Cervo Bantam in a dark grey to black heather felt called "nuit". Size 56 with the overwelt brim at 4,5cm and the crown at 10cm. This had so much potential to be a nice hat, but Cervo just missed the mark here in my opinion. The hat has shrunk so it doesn't fit me and the overall dimensions and shape of the hat give the impression of it being a tiny hat no matter what. Makes it look like a party hat to me; I just can't pull this one off. Pity really, but you can't win them all.

Thanks, Steve. I expected better from a Cervo Bantam really: the other ones I have are great. To be fair those are "super Bantam", maybe that's the differenceShame about that one, Stefan. It looks a real cool hat.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. That's pretty cool too, Stefan. I'm always drawn to spiral stitching. This one turned out not to be a winner either, but that's more because of its size. Sold as a size 56 it turned out to be a size 59. So too large for me.
Slater spiral stitch fedora in grey heather felt. Size 59 with the overwelt brim at 5cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. Nice lightweight hat at 81 grams. English brand name and sold by an Italian retailer. Couldn't find anything useful on Slater as a manufacturer.

Thank you, Steve. Never heard of Slater before even though there seems to be an English hatter of that name (couldn't get on the sit for some reason though). I share your doubts, and those of Daniele, that this one is actually English made. What puzzles me though is the English label, even if there is only one word in English on there. That's pretty cool too, Stefan. I'm always drawn to spiral stitching.
I doubt it's an English manufacturer. Never heard of Slater or seen one before. The "English style - trade mark" rings alarm bells.
Still a nice looking hat though.
