Thank you, Dennis! Never had an award before for my hats!Stefan, I like everything about this hat. Even my size. Wonderful color. I'll bet it would be a good summer fedora. Get's my hat of the week award.

Oh wow! Love it.....that bow! Wow!Let's do another one.
Hückel Welheim Chevreau. Size 57 with the bound brim at 6,3cm and crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. This one has lost its feather (it was no more than a stalk when I found it). This must have been a good seller for Hückel because these turn up on a regular basis (Steve has several of them) in a few variations and finishes. This one is too wide for me (and I already have one of them) but it's too good a hat to not bring it along. View attachment 164682 View attachment 164683 View attachment 164684 View attachment 164685

YES....yes indeed!!!!!!Thanks, Mark! Would have been nice if it'd been a size 60.
Not a sin at all, Daniele. But rather a work of mercy: this falls under both the corporal works of mercy numbers 4 (shelter the homeless) and number 6 (ransom the captive) and number 1 of the spiritual works of mercy (to instruct the ignorant - us, or me at least). An excellent group of Borsalino arrived last week. It was my spring sin
All more or less used are hats produced quite recently. No one has indications of color, named with a number, neither the type of hat, but, fortunately, they do not have the golden mark on the bow
All are sized 59 cm. or 7 3/8 in US and they are, as always a bit tight, some are good for my head, others no. Let's say 50%

Thank you sir. I agree.Yep, that mid-gray will work with a lot of outfits. Good get.
Stefan, I am aware of having been a good Samaritan for the four Borsalinos, but anyway I broke my vow to stay away from the hats and, knowing myself, I have already made other mistakesNot a sin at all, Daniele. From Mr. Fawcett, (sniffed approval by Miles) in a semi-furry steel gray, black ribbon...
Truth be told, I thought I wanted a bound brim, but the underwelt really rocks, and I couldn’t be happier!
My precious underwelt...
