Super looking bowler, Moe. You were lucky it wasn't snapped up by a Swiss banker [emoji4]

It's the perfect hat to wear when I enjoy a Little Debbie Swiss Roll.

Thanks Steve!
I always pictured them wearing top hats...maybe bowlers after work at the pub?

Adam Executive Quality. This one was also a 7 1/8.

Quite the parade of hats again, Max. I admire your talent for finding all of these.

Good catch, John. You don't see many Swiss hats.

That is so cool, Justin. That hat shows its age with pride.

More like a precision work.

My $12.50 lot of "straw" hats arrived. Mixed emotions, but what do you want for $12.50? Came with a couple of vintage hat boxes as well.

Auction photo:

Here is what arrived. First the Penney's Dynel (synthetic fiber). Hoping some water or steam will allow reshaping.

[BobHufford]

Next is a Winston Panama. Nice hat. Not so fino...

[BobHufford]

Then a Hopkins. Nice weave, but has measles. Will probably try the oxalic acid clean-up. Need to research the sweatband to see how to condition it.

[BobHufford]

Lastly the Pedigree Panama. I about cried when I saw the cracks. May try to repair them, but might let the next guy worry about it. If it fits my wife we'll make that decision. None of these fit me.

Wow! Congrats. That Dobbs box alone must be worth $12.50. The hats look good project hats in themselves. Bringing hats back to life is all part of the fun. Keep us posted, Bob.

Thanks Steve! The Dobbs box has all its internal pieces as well.

All of these for $12,50? Are you kidding me? Just handling them would be worth that! Very cool hats, Bob. Pity that none of them are your size. They would need to be ignacioed
