Time to put the homburg nation back in front. More and more people here on the lounge are pulled in so it seems. Here's a lovely new addition to my collection I bought this week. I handled it three times before and left it, because it's another black homburg and feels slightly tight. But it was still there this time and apparently it was meant to be. Scotson homburg in black, size 56. Brim at 6cm and crown 11cm at the pinch. Lovely feel to the felt and it has some of the springy-ness I know from my nutria hat. The liner has that fine detail the older hat-liners have. English make and imported into Finland. The label doesn't ring a bell.

That looks great with the open crown! The brim looks good too. Good work, you wear it well.Picked up this Stephen L Stetson Homburg on Ebay. A little brushing and steaming and it cleaned up pretty well. I decided to go with the open crown to give it that Bat Masterson Old West look.

Picked this Stetson No. 1 Quality off Ebay last week. This hat reminded me of Bamaboots No. 1 that I admired so I had to pull the trigger.
Thanks DD. I had to flatten the brim and put a Gus type crease in it, but I think it needs a little more work on the front of the brim. I need to pull the front down just a little. I don't usually like feathers but I think I will keep this one on the hat.Oh man! I love that.

Stratton Lawman. A gift from Ant ( @moontheloon ) that my wife stole as it fits her and not me. We both thank you Anthony!

I like this one!! The bow is so cool with the upturn. Lovely color and finish too. Another special hat Steve.Echt Velour "Quality Velour Seal", 57cm, probably mid to late 1930s. Not sure what company made it but it came with another Velour from Friedrich Steinberg Hermann & Co. (STECO) Hat Factory Luckenwalde (East Germany) so they might be the source. The "Quality Velour Seal" felt color is a fantastic + unique Tobacco (Tabak) color with a great finish and hand. Also a interesting bow design and two tone liner.

It is with classic lining in white and yellow, very well finished
Classic Borsalino golden sweatband stamps classified the hats as "Qualità Speciale"

Felt is soft and very malleable with a rare color "Ninfea"
This green/beige Borsalino "Ninfea" is too wide for my head, so if you have the right size to wear it let me know with a PM
