Here is the second of two hats that arrived yesterday. The travel mate of the Stetson Musketeer.

Very light tan grey - size 7

2 5/8 brim with 1/4 inch binding

4 1/2 inch crown as bashed

1 1/2 ribbon with rather unique styling

It does not surprise me this hat came from the same owner as the Musketeer as he seems to have had excellent taste for unusual ribbon styling

Thanks Brent. I felt like they were pretty special hats... but really didn’t realize it fully till I had them in hand. Even more so once posted here. I definitely love the ribbon work. I’m a sucker for the unique stuff.

Stetson Bogart in caribou. 5 5/8” open crown and 2 3/4” bound brim (sold to me as a 3” brim). Tone-on-tone ribbon and binding. The hat lacks a felt quality designation on the sweat or liner, but the label behind the sweatband identifies it as Royal DeLuxe. The felt feels identical to the current Royal DeLuxe open crown (Premier) Stetsons. I went with a simple shallow crease to keep as much crown height as possible.

Not a Pilgrim..but a very nice Sears for sure

Medium Grey Felt with a very cool looking ribbon

2 inch Brim with lighter grey bound edge that somehow projects as larger

It is pretty fun to find one that sparks even a tiny bit of envy. A feat you, Alan and others here accomplish on the regular Two in one shot... is like that elusive hole in one! Accomplished with a huge bit of luck and little help from my FL friends...

Echter Nobleza Velour, 58 cm, possibly mid to later 1950s. No paper label and couldn't find anything on the (fantasy) trademark. The Velour is really fantastic (color + hand) and is similar to Seal Velour finish wise. I had a very hard time trying to photograph this hat.
