I think it's pretty clear he makes a nice hat. He's been on my radar for awhile now. What colors did you go with? Is it one of his advertised models or did you just give him the specifications for what you wanted? Did you go with beaver fur or rabbit/hare?

I just give him the specifications what i want. This one is colour mud 50x beaver, 50x hare diamond crown with overwelting brimedge. I wanted a contrasting touch on the bow, so he made it for me. Also my initials MP in the sweatband. You can discuss everything with Peter Hornskov. He's a very nice guy and willing to make everything you want. This is my 2nd hat and not my last i'm affraid :-D

I'm impressed with his work. After Art retires and i pay for my final VS hat, i may just commission a hat from Peter Hornskov.... next year, assuming i survive my 6 month probation at the new job, and surgery in December.

Maybe there should be a dedicated Hornskov Hats thread....

Dobbs Gay Prince. This one I steamed, rushed, and reshaped myself. Not bad, for a dentist. I am not-too-quietly proud.

I took the feather off. It looked like it came from a chicken that barely got away from a coyote.

Looks great Max! Appears a similar shade to the one I got the other day. Now I gotta get around to replacing the whip stitch trim [emoji3].

Prada Glenfur homburg. The ribbon is dark olive green. When I saw the seller pics I thought it was discoloration. A very pliable crown, hand creases easily.

Got a Stetson 7XCB in the mail today that I won on Goodwill.

I knew from the pics on Goodwill that it was pretty mangled, but let’s just throw it in a box, LOL.

The felt and sweat are perfect though. I cleaned it up and misted it down and steamed back to open crown. I’ll see how it looks in the morning after drying, then I’ll post more pics after bashing.

I picked up six hats from Ignacio today. I have been waiting since then for Tapatalk to allow access to TFL.

First, the Hambletonian. It was dirty and crushed from transport to Mexico. Looks new now. I am surprised at how good the felt is. Great hand.
