I wish it was a little more large...

Finally I got it (or it seems to be)!
Hats branded G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro are always a puzzle.
Were they made before the 1936 or they are produced in "Antica Casa" using the old labels and sweatband?

I have as always some doubts but under the sweatband I found this newspaper

I look at the date and I believe it is an "original"
Now a little party in my office

Just received a Stetson I found online. It's seen better days, but I hope some steam and a brush will go a long way toward reviving it. Pics as unboxed, then after playing with it for a bit.

The Arrow, black slouch hat, pencil roll brim. Felt is great on this little guy. Sweat is in good shape except the taped seam has split. Nothing but an old size tag hiding behind. I see a K, M, and 2 D's in the crest.....

Got home and subjected the hat to some hot, steamy love after a good brushing. It desperately needs to be blocked and flanged after the way the brim was treated wherever it was stored, but I managed to get it somewhat back into shape.
I gave it a tight pinch in the front with a wide diamond crease to maximize the crown width and hopefully offset the wonky brim. No noggin shot tonight, but I expect to post one tomorrow.

That is great. A few times I have found similar newspaper in a hat...gives you a time period and some times a story!
