People always ask me if I miss CA or regret moving back to Denmark. I miss some of the hikes, picnic places, and cap areas though I don't miss camping in itself but people underestimate the beauty of the quick changes nature in East Jylland. It may not be any where as spectacular as most places in CA but everything I care for is within a bike ride away. Nothing is more than 15 km away. I don't know about the beach but I'm not a beach person and I can take a 5 min. walk from my mom's house when I visit her and be on a beach.

Hard to pin down where I am from, Born in New Brunswick, NJ, grew up in Baltimore, Md. and for the past 4 years I have been living the wintertime in Davao City, Philippines with my wife and working in Dillingham, Ak during the summer. I was raised on bases up and down the east coast of the U.S. For the last couple of decades I've called Port Salerno Fla. home. If your old enough to remember the TV show Gentle Ben (67-69) you saw my local watering hole, it's still there, And so am I.
